Routing discipline: a low-cost typed layer decides which lane handles work, so expensive frontier tokens are spent only where they earn it.
Current reference node: stateless NVIDIA RTX A6000 48GB ternary-bonsai mouth on Massed Compute (~$0.57/hr). Inference only — durable memory stays on HQ.
Why this works for us: fleet daily input was cut from 85M to 6.4M tokens through Hot-Path packing and discipline gates (34/38 upgraded seats pass hi < 10k prompt tokens). With waste removed first, owned NVIDIA capacity covers routine per-turn cost at a fraction of hosted API spend — and keeps operational data on-premises.
Inception benefits in play: cloud credits and DGX/NGC access for prototyping; NIM endpoints already integrated; a credible path to scaling owned hardware as seat count grows.
